Osimhen Almost Joined Juventus Before Galatasaray Move

Victor Osimhen disclosed in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport that he almost transferred to Juventus before his eventual move to Galatasaray. The Nigerian international, who is currently 27 years old, explained that negotiations with the Turin club were prolonged due to resistance from Napoli's president, Aurelio De Laurentiis.

Despite Juventus' interest, the deal did not materialize, leading Osimhen to find a new home in Istanbul. He initially arrived on loan before making the move permanent the following season.

Osimhen has since become a central figure for Galatasaray, helping the team rediscover its form in the Turkish Super Lig. He also addressed speculation regarding his departure from Napoli, particularly in light of reports suggesting that new manager Antonio Conte was unwilling to let him go.

Osimhen dismissed these narratives, emphasizing that his decision to move was final despite Conte's attempts to persuade him otherwise.
