Osimhen Wanted Juventus Before Joining Galatasaray

Victor Osimhen, the striker for Galatasaray, revealed in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport that he initially aimed to join Juventus before signing with Galatasaray. He noted that Napoli's president, Aurelio De Laurentiis, was unwilling to facilitate a transfer to Juventus.

Osimhen's first move to Galatasaray was on loan, with the opportunity for a permanent transfer next season. He is currently preparing for Galatasaray's UEFA Champions League Round of 16 playoff first leg against Juventus, scheduled for Tuesday.

Osimhen acknowledged that Juventus is a top club and mentioned that when they called, he was ready to listen.
