Hamzat Engages in Church Activities Ahead of 2027 Elections

Obafemi Hamzat, the Lagos State Deputy Governor and All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, attended a church program at Harvesters International Christian Centre on Sunday, where he engaged in ushering and offering-related activities despite being a Muslim. He described the event as a moment of reflection and hope, expressing gratitude for the warm welcome.

Hamzat also visited the Love of Christ Generation Church at Oniru to celebrate its 19th anniversary, congratulating the church on its community impact. The anniversary featured prominent guests, including former President Olusegun Obasanjo and the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi.

Hamzat's recent engagements include attending various Christian gatherings and consulting with Muslim communities as part of his campaign activities for the 2027 elections. He has also participated in interfaith events, including a prayer session for President Bola Tinubu and other APC leaders.
