Spyro Critiques Music Video Content, Shares Career Insights

Nigerian singer Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, known as Spyro, raised concerns regarding the sexual content prevalent in many music videos, stating that numerous artists may not feel comfortable allowing their children to view their work. He emphasized that much of the content resembles pornography.

Spyro, who identifies as a Christian, clarified that although he is known as a "Jesus Boy," his music does not fall under the gospel genre. He disclosed that he has invested millions in music production, with some songs costing up to N100 million and the most expensive music video costing about N50 million.

Spyro acknowledged the influence of Afrobeats star Wizkid on his music, stating that he has learned significantly from him. He also recounted his journey of turning to God after previous attempts to advance his career failed, expressing a desire for divine assistance, particularly to support his mother.
