NDLEA Warns Travelers Against Carrying Unpacked Parcels

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has cautioned travelers against carrying parcels that they did not personally pack, highlighting the dangers posed by drug syndicates. This warning follows a recent operation where NDLEA officials uncovered narcotics hidden in ordinary luggage and courier parcels.

The agency's spokesperson, Femi Babafemi, shared a video detailing the drug bust, which lasts three minutes and ten seconds, to illustrate the methods used by traffickers. The NDLEA reiterated that drug syndicates routinely exploit unsuspecting passengers, with third-party packers slipping illegal substances into bags and parcels.

The agency's message aims to reinforce awareness among travelers to avoid becoming victims of such schemes.
