Senator Akpabio: Only Five Senators Left in Opposition, Emphasizes Unity in Senate

Senator Godswill Akpabio revealed that only five senators are left in the opposition, as nearly 50 members have defected to the ruling APC. Akpabio stressed the importance of unity and cooperation among senators regardless of party affiliation to tackle national issues, including insecurity.

He thanked Governor Peter Mbah for allowing Enugu State to retain the position of Chief Whip despite the defections. Akpabio also highlighted the need for growth and inclusivity in the Senate.
