Peter Okoye Calls 2021 P-Square Reunion a "Fake Reunion"

Nigerian singer Peter Okoye, also known as Mr P, discussed the reasons behind the breakup of the music duo P-Square, stating that their 2021 reunion with his twin brother, Paul Okoye (Rudeboy), was not genuine but rather a "fake reunion." In a video on his Instagram, Mr P recounted how they briefly reunited after years of public disagreements, only to fall out again due to new family issues involving their elder brother and former manager, Jude Okoye. The duo initially split in 2017 and reunited in 2021.

Mr P explained that he returned to Nigeria from Atlanta and received a message from his caretaker about Paul's apology. Despite attempts to reconnect, Mr P stated he never intended to revive P-Square, focusing instead on their brotherly relationship.

He recalled that Paul expressed a desire to rebuild the group, but Mr P declined, emphasizing that he wanted to restore their family bond rather than the music group.
