Senator Rufai Sani Hanga, representing Kano Central Senatorial District, intervened to caution Oshiomhole's choice of words. The altercation also involved a female landowner resisting the government's attempt to acquire her property, with Umahi's remarks suggesting the woman's opposition to the land acquisition was responsible for the escalating dispute.
