Gumi Denies Supporting Bandits, Calls Claims False

Gumi emphasized that he has never justified or advocated for banditry in Nigeria. He urged the public to disregard the misleading content, which he believes is driven by ethnic interests and prejudices.

Gumi warned that individuals continuing to spread these falsehoods could face legal action. He expressed a desire for national healing and peace, emphasizing sympathy for the victims of violence and insecurity across Nigeria, which he attributed to widespread poverty and social injustice.
