Vigilantes Foil Suicide Bombing Plot in Yobe State

In Yobe State, vigilantes from the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) apprehended a suicide bomber named Ibrahim in Damaturu. Ibrahim, a Maiduguri native, was intercepted before carrying out an attack.

During interrogation, he revealed a plot to bomb Gamboru Market Mosque with his deceased accomplice, Adamu. The suspect disclosed the presence of six other suicide bombers deployed in Maiduguri.

The Yobe State Police Command is actively investigating the matter.
