VivaJets has called for practical actions to improve connectivity across Africa, emphasizing the need for seamless mobility to unlock economic potential. This advocacy was presented by CEO Erika Achum and COO Tejumad Salami at the Africa CEO Forum 2026 held in Kigali.

Achum criticized traditional approaches, pointing out that while there is a strategic vision for integration, the lack of operational ground implementation remains a significant bottleneck. Salami noted that despite the demand for seamless mobility, the movement across African regions is unnecessarily complex and fragmented.

VivaJets positions itself not just as an aviation provider but as a catalyst for reliable and flexible borderless mobility, aiming to dismantle geographical barriers to business. The company believes that immediate operational connectivity is crucial for Africa's prosperity and is committed to supporting regulatory policies to facilitate this goal.
