Shettima Represents Tinubu at Fasoranti's 100th Birthday

On a significant occasion, Vice President Kashim Shettima represented President Bola Tinubu at the 100th birthday celebration of Reuben Fasoranti in Akure, Ondo State. Upon arrival at Akure Airport, Shettima received a warm welcome from dignitaries, including the Ondo State Governor and notable political figures.

In a statement, Shettima expressed goodwill on behalf of the federal government, describing Fasoranti as a sage and a disciple of the late Chief Obafemi Awolowo, highlighting his role as the last surviving member of the defunct Action Group from Nigeria's first republic. Additionally, Shettima attended the graduation ceremony of 12 Chibok schoolgirls who were abducted by Boko Haram in 2014, now graduates of the American University of Nigeria in Yola, Adamawa State.

He commended the university for its support in creating an enabling environment for girls to complete their education, underscoring the significance of women's education for national development.
