WAACSP to Launch Africa's First Virtual Assistant Marketplace in 2026

The West Africa Association of Customer Service Professionals (WAACSP) is set to introduce Africa's inaugural virtual assistant marketplace in the first quarter of 2026. This initiative seeks to structure the burgeoning field of remote work by offering a platform on the WAACSP website known as the WAACSP Virtual Assist Portal Dashboard.

The portal will aggregate trained and certified profiles for hire, catering to the increasing demand for remote customer support, administrative, and digital services. With plans to certify nearly 1,400 virtual assistants across the ECOWAS region, WAACSP aims to bridge the trust gap and enhance the adoption of virtual assistant services.

The platform will categorize virtual assistants into high-demand areas such as customer support, executive assistance, social media management, and more.
