WAEC reports ’bugs’ in its data, urges 2025 WASSCE candidates to recheck results

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has reported "bugs" in its data related to the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) results. Candidates who sat for the exam are urged to revisit the official portal within the next 24 hours to recheck their results, following concerns of possible errors in the released results.

WAEC spokesperson Moyosola Adesina stated that a bug in the data was discovered during an internal review process, prompting the temporary suspension of access to the results portal. The council expressed regret over the technical issue and assured the public that the matter would be swiftly resolved.

Candidates who have already checked their results are advised to log in again within the specified timeframe to confirm their scores. WAEC emphasized its commitment to excellence, fairness, and transparency in the assessment process.
