Edun spoke virtually from the United Kingdom, congratulating Nairametrics on their initiative and highlighting the urgent need for financial education amidst Nigeria's evolving economic landscape. Bolaji Balogun, Chairman of FCMB Group PLC, stressed the necessity of innovation and entrepreneurship for economic growth and poverty reduction, citing the role of leading industrialists in job creation. The event attracted 1,000 participants, including retail investors, professionals, policymakers, and financial market stakeholders, exploring macro themes for 2026.
