Special Prayers Held for Senator Wamakko's 73rd Birthday

On March 1, 2023, special prayers were organized in Sokoto to celebrate the 73rd birthday of Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, a prominent leader of the APC in Sokoto State. The prayers were conducted across five mosques in the Sokoto metropolis, including Usman Bin Affan Juma Mosque and Sultan Muhammad Sa'ad Juma Mosque.

A group of five Islamic scholars led the special prayer session, which included two raka'ah of congregational prayer. The clerics prayed for Senator Wamakko, asking Allah to bless him with good health, wisdom, and strength to continue serving the people.

The prayer session also included supplications for the governor, Ahmadu Aliyu, and the state of Sokoto as a whole. Notable attendees included former governor Malam Yahaya Abdulkarim, Speaker of the Sokoto State House of Assembly Tukur Bala Bodinga, and other political figures.

The event highlighted the community's respect and well-wishes for Senator Wamakko as he enters his 73rd year.
