Asake Unveils Intimate Studio Music Video for "Oba

Asake has released the official music video for "Oba," a track from his album M$NEY. The video, directed by Director Buise, shifts from traditional high-energy street visuals to an intimate studio setting, capturing the essence of a late-night recording session. "Oba," meaning King in Yoruba, serves as a high-steeze anthem that reflects Asake's royal status and relentless hustle.

The visual opens with a bass player in a dimly lit studio and features Asake in a green tracksuit, recording alongside producers, engineers, and backing vocalists. The production, led by long-time collaborator Magicsticks, combines Asake's signature log-drum rhythms with choir-backed harmonies.

The video focuses on the craftsmanship of music creation, providing a behind-the-scenes look at the recording process without relying on large dance ensembles or cinematic storylines.
