APC Vows to Counter Peter Obi's Influence for 2027 Elections

The All Progressives Congress (APC), represented by Deputy National Chairman Ben Nwoy, has declared its intention to dismantle the influence of former presidential candidate Peter Obi in the upcoming 2027 general elections. Speaking during an appearance on Channels Television, Nwoy emphasized the party's readiness to confront the challenges posed by Obi, who ran for president under the Labour Party in the 2023 elections and secured victories in nine out of the 17 states in the South.

Nwoy acknowledged the significant impact Obi had in the last elections and stated that the APC will face its biggest challenges in the 2027 elections. He reiterated the party's commitment to battle against Obi's influence and noted that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) is also seeking a flagbearer for the 2027 elections.
