Governor Fintiri Confirms PDP Convention in Ibadan Amidst Tensions

Governor Fintiri confirmed the PDP's decision to proceed with its national convention in Ibadan, as declared by the party's convention planning committee. The announcement came after a high-level stakeholder meeting in Abuja, attended by prominent figures like Seyi Makinde, Umar Damagum, Bukola Saraki, and others.

Despite conflicts and tensions, the party is determined to move forward with the convention, with delegates from at least 36 states expected to attend. The decision to hold the convention in Ibadan follows earlier reports of delegations already in Oyo State for the event.
