Imo PDP Prepares for 2027 Elections with Confidence

The Imo State chapter of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) has declared its readiness to participate in the upcoming 2027 general elections. This announcement was made in a press statement by the party's spokesperson, Lancelot Obiaku, who highlighted the party's commitment to preparing for the elections in line with the revised timetable released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The PDP's State Working Committee, led by Austin Nwachukwu, reassured party members of their readiness to resolve any internal disputes before the primaries, which are scheduled for March 28-29, 2026. The party expressed confidence in the National Caretaker Working Committee's efforts to ensure that all necessary preparations are made within the stipulated timelines.

The Imo PDP urged aspiring candidates to remain calm and focused as they await further directives, emphasizing their goal to provide credible opposition and reliable leadership for good governance, security, and sustainable development in the state.
