CPC Denies Endorsing Atiku Amid Allegations of Pressure and Financial Inducements

The CPC, through Kasim Mabo and Sulaiman Oyaremi, disassociated itself from endorsing Atiku following a visit by some members. The statement clarified that out of 37 members, only 16 pledged allegiance to Atiku, while 20 remained loyal to the APC and President Bola Tinubu.

The CPC accused Atiku of exerting pressure and offering financial inducements to sway members. Emphasizing their loyalty to the defunct CPC bloc, the Forum pledged continued support to the APC leadership.

The statement highlighted the orchestrated nature of the visit to create a false impression of widespread support for Atiku.
