CPC Bloc Denies Endorsing Atiku for 2027 Presidency, Affirms Loyalty to APC

The CPC Bloc has refuted claims of endorsing Atiku Abubakar for the 2027 presidency. The former state chairman of the defunct Congress for Progressives Change rejected reports linking them to Atiku's endorsement.

The Forum of CPC State Chairmen clarified that only a few members visited Atiku, and the majority remain loyal to the Progressives Congress (APC). While acknowledging that some members were enticed by financial inducements leading to recent defections, the group emphasized their commitment to the APC.

They warned against continued marginalization and affirmed their loyalty to the CPC leadership. The statement highlighted the key role played by the CPC in delivering millions of votes during the Buhari era.
