ADC Denies Submitting State Chairmen List to INEC, Calls Reports Fake News

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) clarified that it has not submitted the list of state chairmen to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). The national leadership of ADC emphasized that INEC has not validated any list of state party chairmen submitted by the party.

This clarification came in response to a statement circulating falsely claiming that INEC had released a validated list of state party chairmen for ADC. The party's national publicity secretary, Malam Bolaji Abdullahi, dismissed the statement as fake news aimed at sowing confusion within the party and misleading the public.

Abdullahi reiterated that the process of constituting and ratifying state leadership within a political party is the party's prerogative, and INEC only recognizes lists submitted through the appropriate channels.
