Real Madrid Submits Evidence to UEFA on Vinicius Jr. Incident

Real Madrid has announced that they have submitted evidence to UEFA concerning an incident involving their forward, Vinicius Jr., and Benfica winger Gianluca Prestianni during a Champions League playoff match on Tuesday, which Real Madrid won 1-0. The match was suspended for 11 minutes after Vinicius accused Prestianni of using a racial slur.

Vinicius scored for Real Madrid five minutes into the second half. Prestianni claimed that Vinicius misunderstood him and thought he heard something from the Benfica bench.
