NDC Affirms Support for Obidient and Kwankwasiya Movements

The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) declared its support for the Obidient and Kwankwasiya movements, recognizing their significance within the party despite recent disagreements. Osa Director, the NDC National Secretary, stated that these movements are among the most resilient in Nigeria's political landscape, highlighting their commitment to their beliefs.

The NDC takes pride in having these movements as part of its structure, positioning itself as one of the fastest-growing political parties in Nigeria. This declaration follows a demand from the OK Movement for an apology from the NDC regarding comments made by Cleopas, who claimed that the campaign council did not originate from the NDC.

The OK Movement, led by National Secretary Saadatu Sani, asserted its independence and called for a retraction of what it deemed defamatory remarks. The NDC refuted claims of not supporting the OK Movement, asserting that they are a significant challenge to the ruling APC.
