Wema Bank PLC has announced a final dividend of ₦1.25 per ordinary share for the financial year ended 31 December 2025, subject to withholding tax and shareholder approval. No bonus shares have been proposed alongside the dividend.
Shareholders whose names appear in the Register of Members at the close of business on 29 April 2026 will qualify for the dividend. The Register of Shareholders will be closed from 30 April 2026 to 6 May 2026.
Dividend payment is scheduled for 20 May 2026 and will be made electronically to shareholders who have completed e-dividend registration and mandated Greenwich Registrars & Data Solution Limited to credit their bank accounts directly. Shareholders yet to complete e-dividend registration are directed to obtain the mandate activation form from the registrar's website at www.greenwichregistrars.com.
Shareholders holding unclaimed dividend warrants or unvalidated share certificates are advised to contact the registrar. The company's Annual General Meeting will be held virtually via https://wemabank.com/AGM/ on 20 May 2026 at 11am.
