Wema Bank Launches Year-Long Rewards for Children

On Children's Day, Wema Bank's Managing Director and CEO, Chinmamanda Diamond Ozoakpata, unveiled a year-long initiative aimed at rewarding and empowering Nigerian children. This initiative is part of the bank's activities to commemorate the 2026 Children's Day celebration.

The program includes several child-focused benefits, such as a birthday cash gift scheme for holders of the Royal Kiddi Account. Children turning five will receive ₦5,000, while those turning ten will receive ₦10,000.

This initiative will run from May 2026 to May 2027 and is available to eligible children who already hold an active Royal Kiddi Account. Additionally, Wema Bank introduced a ₦100,000 reward package for the top 100 students in the upcoming National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE), scheduled to commence in June 2026.

This initiative is designed to encourage academic excellence among young Nigerians and promote financial literacy.
