Governor Otti Launches Healthcare Infrastructure Renovation Program in Bende

Governor Alex Otti of a Nigerian state announced the renovation of primary healthcare centers as part of the Project Ekwueme program. The launch included the Okpuhu Nkpa Umuenyere Alayi Primary Health Centers in Bende local government area.

The program aims to address the neglect of healthcare infrastructure over the past 24 years. Key officials like Commissioner of Health Enoch Uche and Special Adviser Ferdinand Ekeoma highlighted the importance of the initiative in improving healthcare access for the community.

The Executive Secretary of the Primary Healthcare Development Agency emphasized the need for community participation in the Basic Health Fund and social health insurance programs for better healthcare services.
