ADC in Edo State Unaware of Local Government By-Election, Focuses on Good Governance

African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Edo State, Nigeria, expressed unawareness of a local government by-election scheduled for September 20, 2025. The State Chairman, Hon Kennedy Odion, stated that the party had not been officially notified by the State Independent Electoral Commission (EDSIEC) about the election to fill vacant councillorship seats across the state's 15 local government areas.

Odion emphasized the party's commitment to good governance and accountability, contrasting it with the All Progressives Congress (APC). The ADC aims to strengthen its structure across the 18 local government areas.

The party is gaining momentum under the leadership of Chief John and other prominent figures.
