Kwankwaso Open to Joining APC with Strong Conditions

Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the Leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) and a 2023 presidential candidate, expressed readiness to consider joining the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) under specific conditions. Kwankwaso highlighted the need for a strong political alliance with clear benefits for the NNPP before any merger with the APC.

During a meeting with APC representatives in Kano State, Kwankwaso emphasized the historical role he played in the formation of the APC and the challenges faced during that period. He insisted on transparent discussions and tangible gains for the NNPP in any potential collaboration with the APC, recalling past political alliances and accusing the APC of aligning with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the past.
