Kwankwaso Affirms Loyalty to NNPP Amid Defection Speculations

Rabiu Kwankwaso, the National Leader of the New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP), has denied rumors of planning to leave the party for another political platform. Kwankwaso emphasized his commitment to the NNPP during a National Executive Committee meeting in Abuja, stating his satisfaction with the party's performance in Kano state.

He highlighted the importance of collective decision-making within the party regarding the 2027 general elections, emphasizing the party's supremacy and unity. Kwankwaso cautioned party members against being swayed by politicians defecting to other parties, citing his own experience of losing an election in the past due to public support for a rival candidate.
