North-East Governors Commit to Developing Critical Sectors Amid Challenges

Governors from the North-East region of Nigeria affirmed their commitment to developing critical sectors of the economy during a meeting in Jalingo, Taraba State. The Governors Forum, led by Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State, pledged to work collaboratively with stakeholders to revamp and enhance education, health, science, technology, agriculture, youth, and women development in the region.

Despite challenges posed by years of insurgency, the governors remain resolute in their efforts to rebuild and improve the fortunes of their states. Governor Zulum expressed gratitude for the support from his colleagues and emphasized the need for unity and concerted efforts towards growth and development.

The governors also appreciated the Federal Government's assistance in infrastructure projects aimed at positively impacting the region.
