West Africa Summit to Focus on Climate Finance and Investment

The West Africa Sustainability Summit and Awards 2026, organized by Sustainable Report Africa Media Limited, will take place on October 2 at Lagos Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island. The summit is themed “Accelerating Africa’s Green Transition, People, Planet & Prosperity,” and aims to gather stakeholders to discuss the integration of environmental goals with social inclusion and economic growth.

Key thematic areas include ESG Integration and Corporate Accountability, Climate Finance and Green Investment, Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security, Youth, Gender and Inclusive Sustainability, Policy, Regulation and the Green Economy, and Technology, Innovation and the Digital Green Transition. The summit will address the significant funding needs of African economies to combat climate change while investing in critical sectors.

It will also emphasize the role of youth and women in driving green entrepreneurship and innovation. Additionally, the West African Sustainability Awards will recognize outstanding contributions to environmental, social, and governance outcomes across the region.
