West Ham Midfielder Alvarez Joins Fenerbahce On Loan

Mexican midfielder Edson Alvarez has made a loan move from West Ham United to Turkish club Fenerbahce, with an option to make the transfer permanent next summer. Alvarez, who joined the Hammers from Dutch side Ajax in 2023, has made 73 appearances for the club, scoring two goals and assisting three.

Despite being an unused substitute in West Ham's recent Premier League matches, Alvarez captained the Mexican national team to victory in the Concacaf Gold Cup final against the USA this summer. Fenerbahce, managed by Jose Mourinho, have also signed Nelson Semedo from Wolves and Jhon Duran on loan from a Saudi side.

Alvarez's move to Fenerbahce marks a new chapter in his career as he looks to make an impact in the Super Lig.
