Atiku Abubakar Meets Amaechi Amid ADC Primary Results

Atiku Abubakar, the former Vice President of Nigeria, met with Rotimi Amaechi, the former Governor of Rivers State, to discuss pressing national issues, including economic and security challenges facing Nigeria. The meeting, which took place at Amaechi's residence in Abuja, involved extensive discussions aimed at finding solutions to the country's difficulties.

Atiku congratulated Amaechi on his birthday during the visit and engaged in light-hearted football banter. Additionally, Atiku emerged as the presidential candidate for the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for the 2027 general elections, having received 1,846,370 votes in the party's primary, defeating Amaechi, who garnered 504,117 votes, and Moham Hayatu-Deen, who received 177,120 votes.

The ADC leadership, led by former Senate President David Mark, announced the results on Wednesday night. However, both Amaechi and Hayatu-Deen rejected the outcome, alleging irregularities in the voting process.
