Atiku Abubakar Visits Amaechi After ADC Primary Results

On Thursday, Atiku Abubakar, a presidential candidate for the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the 2027 elections, visited his major rival, former Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi, at his Abuja residence. This visit followed the recent conclusion of the ADC presidential primary, where Atiku emerged victorious over Amaechi and businessman Moham Hayatu Deen, who clinched the ticket.

Despite the results, Amaechi rejected the outcome, officially declaring that the process was fraught with irregularities. In response, Atiku accepted the results and made an appeal to Amaechi and his aggrieved members to close ranks in preparation for the 2027 general elections.
