Xiaomi Launches Redmi 17 with 7,500mAh Battery

Xiaomi has introduced the Redmi 17 smartphone, which features a significant 7,500mAh battery, one of the largest capacities in its category. The battery supports 45W wired charging and 22.5W wired reverse charging.

The device has a 6.9-inch display with a resolution of 1,600 x 720 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, reaching 825 nits in high-brightness mode. The camera system includes a 50MP main rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture and an 8MP front-facing camera, both capable of recording 1080p video at 30 frames per second.

The Redmi 17 is available in both 4G and 5G models, powered by MediaTek's Helio G91-Ultra chipset for the 4G version and Qualcomm's Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 processor for the 5G variant. Both models run on Xiaomi's HyperOS 3, based on Android 16.

The smartphone also includes USB Type-C connectivity, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi support, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Availability and configurations may differ by market.
