Deborah Davidson Advocates for Women's Health Support

Deborah Davidson, through her foundation, recently organized an annual food distribution and a menstrual health outreach in Abuja and Kogi State. This initiative aims to address the stark contrast between women struggling to feed their families and the basic necessities they lack, such as sanitary products.

Davidson, motivated by her upbringing in a home with limited resources, has been distributing food to women annually and marked the fifth anniversary of her foundation with a menstrual health outreach. She highlighted that poverty is a major barrier preventing women from accessing essential items like food and sanitary pads, which affects their health, confidence, and education.

During the outreach, she interacted with young girls about menstrual hygiene, revealing that many were unaware of proper sanitary practices. Despite the challenges of funding and resource mobilization, Davidson believes that community involvement is crucial for making a real impact.

She encourages everyone to contribute, no matter how small, to help change lives.
