Bloom Relief Foundation Plans Menstrual Health Outreach

The Bloom Relief Foundation has announced its upcoming menstrual health outreach scheduled for March 27, 2026, to commemorate International Women’s Day. Founded by Ekong Glori, a social entrepreneur, the foundation aims to provide menstrual equity and reproductive care for every girl child in Nigeria.

The foundation, previously known as the Bloom Project, has successfully executed two outreach programs in Lagos, Nigeria, since its inception in 2025. The first outreach occurred in March 2025, followed by a second in October 2025, where menstrual supplies were provided to 100 girls.

The outreach packages are designed to last at least three months and include menstrual cups. The foundation is committed to scaling its impact and plans to launch its own reusable pads and menstrual cups to further extend its reach to underserved communities.

The foundation operates on a bi-annual calendar, with major outreach events in March and October, aiming to eliminate menstrual poverty and promote sustainable menstrual health solutions.
