DSS Operative Blocks El-Rufai's Wife at Court Entrance

On Tuesday, during the arraignment of former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), his wife, Asiya Ahm El-Rufai, faced a dramatic incident at the Federal High Court in Kaduna. Asiya arrived at the court premises wearing an ash veil and appeared visibly upset when she found the main gate locked.

She requested access from the DSS officials present, but her request was refused, and the officials reportedly remained silent. Asiya was then directed to use a back entrance to access the court.

Additionally, Khadija Ahm El-Rufai, the former governor's first wife, also encountered similar treatment, being denied access at the front gate and asked to use the back entrance. Khadija was dressed in a black abaya and scarf and appeared calm as she walked within the premises to find the courtroom.
