Nollywood Actress Temitope Osoba's Inspiring Journey

Temitope Kofoworola Osoba was born on December 2, 1985, in Abeokuta, Ogun State. She began her acting career in 2005 after being selected for a role in Laide Bakare's film Ijoya.

Before acting, she was a professional dancer and video vixen, appearing in music videos for artists like Olu Maintain and Pasuma. Osoba earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Education from Olabisi Onabanjo University and had a successful two-decade career in Yoruba Nollywood, featuring in productions such as Gucci Girls and Accident.

In late 2024, she discovered a lump in her breast and publicly shared her diagnosis to encourage others to prioritize their health. The surgery cost ₦12 million, which she raised through public appeals, with support from actresses Foluke Daramola and Iyabo Ojo.

After undergoing surgery in November 2024, she announced her cancer recovery in August 2025. On the eve of her death, she posted "Ogo Tuntun," meaning "A New Glory.".
