Enike-Matthew Advocates for Leadership Transformation in Africa

At the third edition of the Paradigm Shift Conference (PSC) held at Reiz Continental Hotel, Dr. Stephen O. Enike-Matthew, the convener, called for a shift in mindset among Nigerians and Africans towards transformational leadership.

Under the theme "Impossibility Is Nothing: Yes You Can," he argued against the notion that economic hardship and social background dictate one's fate. Enike-Matthew insisted that Africa's challenges are not due to a lack of resources but rather a failure in strategic thinking.

He encouraged attendees to rethink their relationship with poverty, stating, "It is not spiritual to be broke. Poverty is not humility; it is a failure of strategy." The conference also featured the launch of his two books, "Beyond Survival" and "The Art of Dreaming Big," aimed at guiding readers toward purposeful living.

Additionally, the Leadership and Development Initiative (ALDI) Awards were presented to recognize contributions to leadership and nation-building, promoting the philosophy that "what you celebrate, you replicate." The event focused on four pillars: mindset transformation, leadership development, business and wealth creation, and women's empowerment.
