Apostle Niyi Peter, a Nigerian clergyman, revealed via social media that Bunmi Akinnanu's family did not involve fellow gospel musicians in the burial preparations.

The family reportedly disagreed with the musicians' involvement, leading to a situation where they were prevented from participating. Apostle Peter advised individuals to legally document their burial wishes to avoid such conflicts.

Omije Ojumi's burial took place at the Atan Cemetery in Lagos, with her family handling the arrangements independently.
