The family of the late Nigerian gospel singer Omije Ojumi has called off the burial plans previously announced. The decision was made due to internal family issues, as stated by Lanre Alewiles, a close associate of the deceased singer.

Omije Ojumi passed away on January 12 after battling a long-term leg problem. The cancellation announcement was shared on social media, with no new date set for the burial.
