Father of BBNaija Winner Ilebaye Explains Assault Incident

Emmanuel Odiniya, the father of Big Brother Naija winner Ilebaye Odiniya, has addressed the recent incident involving an assault on his daughter, claiming it stemmed from provocations during a family confrontation. He stated that he does not love her any less and has made sacrifices to support her career, including mobilizing votes during her time on the reality show.

However, he accused Ilebaye of becoming disrespectful and physically aggressive after her victory, alleging that she has neglected him financially despite his health challenges. The confrontation escalated when Ilebaye allegedly insulted him, leading to a physical altercation where he claims she hit him with a hanger, causing injury.

Following the incident, both Ilebaye and her younger brother were hospitalized. Emmanuel maintains his love for Ilebaye and wishes for reconciliation, while the police have intervened to investigate the matter.
