APC Chairman Yilwatda Refuses to Intervene in Wike and Fubara Feud in River State

Yilwatda, the APC State Chairman, clarified on a TV appearance that the party would not interfere in the ongoing feud between Governor Nyesom Wike of the PDP and Siminalayi Fubara, an estranged godfather in River State. Yilwatda explained that the conflict does not fall within the party's jurisdiction.

He further elaborated that the APC's stance is to maintain neutrality in the tensions in River State, including the impeachment issues involving a sole APC member in the state House of Assembly. Yilwatda stressed the importance of discretion and maturity in handling internal party matters to avoid escalating the situation.
