Ruth Kadiri Reveals Reasons for Private Marriage

Ruth Kadiri, a Nollywood actress and producer, revealed her reasons for keeping her marriage private during a recent podcast episode. Kadiri expressed that she had a fear of marriage and was uncertain about the future of her relationship, which influenced her decision to avoid a public marriage.

She stated that her husband supported her choice, leading them to have a small wedding with only 50 guests, split evenly between their invitations. Kadiri mentioned, “I had a phobia of marriage.

I was battling with the fear of the unknown and asking myself, ‘Am I going to make this decision and everything will now scatter?’” The couple married in a private ceremony in 2018 and welcomed their first daughter in August 2019, followed by their second daughter in July 2022.
