NIPR Honors Uba Sani as Patron for Public Relations

The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) honored Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State as a patron during an investiture ceremony held at the Brigadier General Abba Kyari Banquet Hall on Tuesday. Information Minister Alhaji Moham Idri praised Sani for his friendly communication and commitment to public relations.

The NIPR approached the governor to host its week, which aligns with the theme of food security in Nigeria. The keynote speaker, Dr. Brylyn Chitsung, a renowned South African food security expert, emphasized the importance of translating agricultural policies into actionable products.

Governor Sani noted that Kaduna State's agricultural budget has significantly increased from 0.4% to over 10% of the total budget by 2026. He highlighted initiatives such as the Tallafin Noma Koma Gona program, which supports 120,000 smallholder farmers, and the distribution of 900 trucks of fertilizer to enhance agricultural productivity.
