Nasarawa Governor Abdullahi Sule Decorated as NIPR Patron

On a recent occasion in Abuja, Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule was honored as a patron by the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR). The event, attended by political leaders and dignitaries, was led by NIPR's chairman, Ik Neliaku, who praised Sule as a visionary leader.

Neliaku noted that Sule's contributions to public relations have significantly impacted the profession, with a reported increase in Nasarawa's perceptual rating from 30.4% in 2024 to 83.6% in 2026. Akin Rotimi, the spokesman for the House of Representatives, commended Sule's initiatives aimed at developing the next generation of public relations professionals and promoting gender equity.

Vincent Anibogu, a special advisor from the Ugandan government, recognized Sule's partnership with the institute to establish a university in Nasarawa State, emphasizing practical knowledge and innovation. The ceremony experienced a brief disruption due to a power outage but resumed shortly after.

Sule reaffirmed his commitment to the institute's objectives and the importance of leadership in Nigeria's progress.
