Why We Believe Peter Obi Will Keep His Single-Term Promise – MBF

The Middle Belt Forum (MBF) has expressed confidence in Peter Obi's promise to serve only one term if elected as Nigeria's president. The MBF believes that Obi, a former Anambra State governor, will uphold his word due to his integrity.

MBF's National President, Bitrus Pogu, emphasized that the Middle Belt region trusts Obi's commitment and sees no reason to doubt his record of keeping promises. Pogu clarified that the Middle Belt, although not strictly part of the north, supports Obi's aspiration.

The forum maintained that Obi's pledge is not meant to deceive or manipulate the Middle Belt's support. This statement reinforces the belief that Peter Obi will honor his promise of a single term if elected president.
